Monday, March 2 is the birthday for children's author Theodor Seuss Geisel. This is a fun time in our library. We celebrate his birthday by drawing our own Dr. Seuss Illustrations. After we are done (this takes 2 library periods), we post them on our bulletin boards in a collage format for all to see. The kids love it, and it's fun to compare a 6th graders interpretation of The Cat in the Hat to a 1st grader's interpretation. All the illustrations are amazing!
